Wie ich eben per Announce-Mail mitbekommen habe, steht der Gewinner des FreeBSD Logo Wettbewerbes fest. Es ist Anton K. Gural, mit seinem Vorschlag erzielte er eine eindeutige Mehrheit.

Ein grafisch sehr schickes Logo, gerade auch mit dem (zu)verbreiteten Spiegel-glas-3d-look (Kristall), aber im Bezug zu FreeBSD, wirkt es mir fast etwas zu rund/verspielt. Wobei irgendwie ja jedes Logo am Anfang gewöhnungsbedürftig ist.
Das Potential zu Desktophintergründen und T-Shirts hat es auf alle fälle, auch stelle ich es mir wunderbar diffus rot leuchtend an einem schwarzen Tower vor
